SC sounds like a Can of Rocks.

As the title says my bearings in my Stock SC are going out. I only have a 3.0 pulley and a shortened Belt. I believe the belt is why the bearings are going out its putting to much pressure on my SC Pulley. My tensioner is also going out. I am looking at getting it rebuilt but not sure what all i need for it. Has anyone else had a problem with there SC Bearings?

How many miles on it?

You just need a new coupler and oil. That is sold through Magnuson or zzp.

If you have lots of miles I'd recommend a new tensioner anyway as well.

I just emailed tom at CED to see if he could get a maintenance kit together as well. See what he says.

Rocks in the supercharger sound is usually the coupler.

K im gunna pull it apart this weekend and see how it looks. I hope its just the coupler i really dont have extra to spend on it atm. I got about 46k on the car with about 5k on the pulley/belt. I need to replace the tensioner anyways if you watch it as the car idles it moves forward and back.

IF you take the snout off you'll need new oil. So just order the parts now and do it when they arrive.

Well i got the new coupler in and put back together and its still making the same noise. I thought it was strange how the coupler wasnt moving it was really snug on both side but i was like ok. so now it looks like ill have to order the bearing form ZZP and get them put in. how fun

yes i put new GM supercharger oil in it about 6 ounces. Well when my mechanic said it was the bearings i got to think the shortened belt that i got from CA. i have to have someone push down on the tensioner while i tilt the snout down to get the belt on it. could it be that the belt is some how to short for a 3.0 pulley and that is why the tensioner knocks and maybe put to much pressure on the snout bearings?
