Well I don't see a dealer doing this. It takes too much work and a good amount of knowledge to make it work. The dealer doesn't have the ability to get all the parts and pieces.

Find a member to help with install.

I don't think most dealers would even know how to do this. lol

Take it to a reputable custom shop in your area.

save you stress, heartache, and money, dont take it to the dealer... MOST of them are there for jobs that are done via instructions on GM's mega site... take it to a custom shop or like someone said someoine on here

hell i don't even know if a reputable tuner shop would want to take on the task of supercharging a cobalt... with most of those shops if it isn't a honda going turbo they don't know what do

it would be easier for you to get all the parts then most shops since you can get them used, most shops are going to look for new parts and run up the price

I wouldn't even **** with the dealership. I got them to put a catback system on for me and they fucked it up and my bumper got burnt from the muffler. now i'm stuck with a mini van until they fix my bumper. Dealerships suck ass bro!

Not all dealership techs are stupid, just most of us, lol... Actually i would install it if you brought it to my dealership, but youd pay $85.00 per hour for like 12 to 14 hours of labor maybe more depending on what all you want. I would use trifecta for tuning, and you would have to gather all the parts needed for the install. I think youd be silly to spend the money when you could do all this yourself, but as i said before not all dealer techs are oblivious to cobalt performance and modding. GL...

i think the only attractive thing about this would be if they warrantied it. as in since THEY installed it we get to keep our warranty.

there is not specific kit for the 2.2/2.4 so there is no warranty if something breaks bc of the blower...so either way, you cant warranty the engine if it blows, they dont have the know how to do it, i doubt they can work ls2 edit to even tune the car, if you were local i would help, i do sc installs on 2.2/2.4 in one day for a flat rate of $300...takes about 7-9hrs...and i do it all alone, so u could drop the car off and come back to pickit up...of course that all the install, you need to buy the parts and get your own tuning, which i recommend trifecta as they have done countless sc tunes for us
