throtttle body port and polish pics(56K not happenin)
this is what it looked like when i started, euthanasia had allready ported it some.
next i removed the plate in the middle by removing the to torqs set screws.
after that i proceeded to wet sand everything very smooth, starting with 600 grit working my way up to 2000 grit.once that was done i used mothers aluminum polish to put a shine on it.
finished product
been doing supercharger maintenance all day as well, pulled it completely apart, polished the intake side, degreased then regreased the inside bearings, smoothed the inner surface areas, and changed the oil. oh yah and i polished the ported areas on my blower. all this might gain me a hp..........

I think I will leave the S/C on the car and just do it day by day just using the process you did and then polishing it at the end, did you by chance use a buffer?

I did this a while back. I feel for your fingers! Not trying to hijack or anything, but check my pics. I painted the throttle body and sanded/polished the lines on it. I get a lot of comments on it. Just an idea for you to consider.

I found this from Clear Image. Is it like their "Thermal Dispersant" stuff? I'll have to check this place out since they are local.www.clearimageautomotive.com
