no, just cause its a 4bolt rectangle does not mean its T3 you sure you can do this on your own?

no...you can't. At least you can't just buy any downpipe and expect it to fit like magic. No one downpipe is going to mate to that turbo in your engine bay without extensive fabrication. That turbo wasn't made for your car, and your car was meant to be run naturally aspirated. In other words, there's no telling how much room will be in the back of your bay once you slap that turbo on there. That's part of the problem with piecing your own kit together. You MIGHT save money, but you won't save yourself headaches.

if you're "pretty sure", then why are you asking?

well it just seems like you're just being argumentative with everyone that proposes something contrary to what you believe. So if we're wasting your time, then take it to one of your buddies that is a "turbo expert" and have them confirm the flange and everything else that we've pretty much stated already.

then measure it. center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole. T3 is 3.38" long, 1.75" width. T25 is 73mm by 40mm

if by "2.5 tsudo" you mean a catback then yeah it'll work. if he has a downpipe. see if it'll clear when mounted on the car. if not then you'll have to build one. also. unless that manifold came off a cobalt it won't fit.

i doubt his manifold will mate to your cobalt, unless your buddy drives a cobalt.

he does. he bought the kit off a guy who was going to turbo his l61 cavi but then sold the kit. my friends cobalt is starting to hit high miles and hes not sure if he wants forced induction or sell the car. yes i have the 2.5 tsudo catback. thats the only preformance thing i have done at the moment. maybe he will let me borrow the manifold turbo and down pipe to do a test fit at school. shouldnt take more than two hours sart to finish right?

i think you should keep your money in your bank acct and look up some threads and basic turbo functionality no offense. if you get that turbo you don't need a wastegate flange on the manifold considering it's internally gated.

yeah, if it is a T25, save your money and wait. cause you say you want to build the engine later. well then you're going to want to go with a bigger turbo. bigger turbo's do not come in T25. so you'll need to get a new manifold. and a new manifold will mean the turbo probably wont be in the same location. which means you'll need to redo some of the piping.

see what we're getting at?

My question is. Why spend money now and half ass it and then re-do everything again later? Why not save your money and piece together a nice kit. You complain about not having a big budget yet you are saying you're going to buy half ass used crap for now and then buy all new stuff and rebuild the motor later. Have you though about maybe slowly buying parts for a nice build instead. You will save more money that way. Plus just because you're going to make it as reliable as you can for now doesn't mean ****. Yeah you can turbo a L61 and run low psi for now and be safe on internals, but do you understand that it's an N/A engine and it isn't completely safe once you add forced induction. You are adding more stress to every part of your engine and things will still break. You're still going to have to pay to maintain your car when other things go bad. So best of luck to you. Hope all goes well for you.

Its a TB2210 turbo from what I can find. also it was listed as being on the 300zx.

Cody, they make many 4 bolt rectangle flanges so you can't assume anything.
