Just curious, what about the 2.5" screamed out to you? A 3" exhaust would help with your already excellent spool time, and should help through the whole powerband as well.

ill probably do 2.5 from the cat back...downpipe and all for the turbo will probably be 3"....would that hurt anything going from 3" down into 2.5"?

When I say "hurt" I mean that you will have less horsepower through out the band and have a slower spool time. The car will still function perfectly, and at no danger to the engine. You could leave it on there the whole time you have the car if you like, but you do so knowing that the car could perform better and be a better driving experience.
