update
just an up date.. i got the motor out today... and i picked up my wisceo piston 10:1 comp.. eagle rods, head gasket and arp head bolts.i decided to just put stock valvetrain back in and get a three angle valve job. also need to pick up a honing tool from snap on.. other than that i gotta pull the tranny apart and get the motor on the engine stand.. is anyone running the spec stage 4clutch ? or any recommendation for 400 whp cobalt as far as clutch goes ?

Skunk is running the 10:1's and much more boost then most of us will ever see and he's doing well.

If you mean that the bowl being the result of a lower cr then yeah I guess youd be safer when it comes to detonation but that is not required for boosted appliactions like you said? Higher octane and or meth/water injection will also fight knock/detonation.

i would def use one of these brushes if you dont hone. this is what i was told to use from total seal.
it removes all the cyl glaze but does not remove material. it will also produce a nice cross hatch if used correctly
