i would use a exedy clutch not a spec. i had problems with my spec blowing the boot on the throwout bearing. causing the boot to overextend and rip

exedy hypersingle. it turned out to be a bad throw out bearing and clutch master but i just changed everything while it was apart. resurfaced flywheel, new flywheel bolts, new clutch, new TOB, new clutch master cylinder. and i sold the exedy locally

when you get a clutch get a stage 3 or 4 form clutch masters... exedy only has a stage 1 and 2 and stage 2 is only rated for 279tq =[ how much power you looking for from this build?

Yes IMO the spec stage 3+ and the exedy hyper single are fairly comparable kits. SPEC is just a bit better priced, and you can use the stock flywheel with the SPEC.

haha yeah money goes quick when doing these projects. the progressive controller is actually very easy. you just wire it into the MAP sensor. its just a one wire tap. you are going to need a map sensor that can read boost though since yours does not
