what do I need to update before the boost?

well the plan is to take my SS to Hahn by july and get a 3'' exhaust and the level 5 turbo kit. What do I have to upgrade before I can do this? I know the pistons are pretty shitty in the balts but are they an necessity BEFORE I get the level 5? I just want to make sure the care isnt TOO volatile with the level 5.

If Im good for a while on stock internals the next think i want to do after the exaust and the lvl 5 is springs, clutch, and big brake kit.

Basically im trying to put everything together in "packages" for me to buy. any insight would be great. Thanks CSS!!!

well, you can run a detuned lvl 5 at like 300whp reliably on stock internals, but to get the full ~400whp you'll need pistons and rods, which will require headstuds and a gasket as well. I'm pretty sure hahn sells a package that includes all of that for the solstice, and its the same motor.

The stock SS block is all forged except the cast iron pistons. The stock block can handle up to 400hp I believe

All of this will be installed and tuned by Hahn. I'm going to have to shoot them an email because since they are local to me i want to have them install everything they sell for it. ill have 7 grand to play with in July so I'm trying to get a solid plan going. I have been working my ass off and banking it all away so its almost time to reap the benefits of my labor

the above are crrect. for some reason i was thinking i was in the 2.4 section when i said you'd have to run it detuned. the LSJ can run the full kit. I would say anything up to 400whp is safe on the LSJ, and above that is the mystery. Paul is the farthest in that territory that i know of, at like 460whp?
