just shoot zzp an email.. they'll probably work something out with you and your 33#'s are probably smaller then their 33's .. their 39's are ford 39's and are rated at like 40 psi.. our rail pushes 60 psi so they actually act like closer to 50's or so. if you bought stock cobalt/ redline ones.. they're rated at 60 psi

I bought THEIR 33s. lol. The day before I came to a decision. I emailed them earlier, but thought I'd check with you guys as well. I was just going to go intake & exhaust and build N/A, but saw the escalating cost and the fact that you can barely push over 200whp N/A and I want a sleeper. Now I am trying to avoid paying for parts I don't need.

What is the most boost I should safely run before having to upgrade the clutch and internals and the fuel supply? I need sleep. 5 am and I have an 11:30 Music Theory class. Ugh. lol. Don't go into Music Education. Just don't. Haha

well long as you keep the rpm 7k or below you can run a healthy amount of boost on these engines you biggest enemy is valve float and that happens at higher boost and higher rpms .. i was running 10-11 psi on my procharger setup with 60 lb injectors and stock engine and clutch.. ( procharging is generally easier on parts though ) and will be going to 15 or so psi soon as well on the same setup

clutch you'll need to look at around 250 wtrq depending on how you drive / how many miles you have on the car

Cool. I want mine to be drivable but with some performance when I wanna be spirited. Still undecided on whether I want to drop 2k into my car. It sounds like a great decision and an idiotic one in the same thought.

sooo, ive been researching all this turbo stuff. and now that i saw the zzp kit, and i would get a trifecta tune anyways since vince lives like 20miles away. But im debating, do you think it would be cheaper to piece together your own turbo kit? or buy the zzp kit? if i buy the zzp kit, i think im gonna upgrade turbos later. opinions please! i have a stock 2.2

Cheaper to build your own of course, but much more research is involved and you have a bigger chance to run into issues cuz noone did R&D on the exact setup you are using, much less on your car at the psi you are running. That's why I am kitting it.

You have a heck of a build already there from the looks of your signature. I decided to go Stage 2 and only need about 300 and I should be golden. How much is the grand total with tax and shipping?

Is there much of a difference in performance in upgrading to that high of injectors?

To change the psi, I change the wastegate, correct? I'd like to run mine just under 12.

My mechanic yelled at me when I mentioned an atmospheric BOV and called me a ricer lol. He's doing my install and is a former parts manager turn part-time professor so I'll take his word for it. Those horn BOVs do sound wicked though.

not so much of a performance mod it just at a higher horsepower your 39lb injectors will max out and you wont have enough fuel supply..injectors are a supporting mod. and im gonna be running a TiAl BOV
