2.4 friendly? The two kits on the top, the complete ones, are those totally assemble, tune, roll set-ups? I hate buying kits and having to complete them.. I like everything to be in the damn box.. lol.

When you're a "test mule" for something like that, do they give it to you for free afterwards? lol. If so, I'll drive my ass up there tomorrow.

very 2.4 friendly. Infact the hahn kit for the 2.4 is the garrett kit with a few fuel mods thrown in and a tune. Get the GT tuner kit 60lbs and a tune and there ya go. The other kits are for those wanting only the key componets and do the rest themselves.

Without knowing, I'm assuming you could do that if you bought the s/c conversion as well. Indeed it'd be cool if ZZP sold is fully refurbished package of that stuff, but it'd certainly be costly.. But I'd assume you could piece together a s/c kit and throw the twin-charge set-up on as well..

In other options, has anyone seen the turbo kit for Cobalts on eBay? I usually would never mention something like that, however a turbo kit for under a grand needs to be mentioned. Couldn't you buy that kit and just add a better turbo to it and have an ok set up that could be safe for low-boost? I would never buy a kit like that and expect like 22 psi.. lol.

But how are the turbos on this ZZP kit? Anyone ever use that brand? Or would you be better buying a Garrett blower and adding that on in place?

You can't always just swap in turbo's.....there are many different intake/exhasut flange combinations. A twin charge 2.4 is a waste of time and money. Its hard enough haveing one form of FI going on a factory na engine.

Well, as far as the ebay turbo kits, they're good except for the turbo's themselves and maybe the BOV. You get a crappy bov and it sticks, you're gonna pay a lot more money than even the hahn kit.

Do it once and do it right, spend the cash on the turbo and BOV for sure, the rest of the piping/lines/clamps/IC can be ebay items.

So in other words, you could get the eBay kit, but just get a quality BOV and blower? My friend is turbo-ing his B16 CRX, so he has alot of spare **** around.. He even had a cheap-o set-up on his EG coupe that was still pretty sick.. I mean, I really only want low low boost.. Not enough to really worry about blowing anything up.. lol. Is the eBay kit even sized and everything for our car? As in, the tubing and all that? I know that alot of that eBay stuff like that is kinda "one size fits all".. And that's gay.. But if it's reasonable, I may see what I can do.. But also, my 2.4 is an auto.. Will that be OK with a DIY turbo kit? I'd assume so since there are lots of turbo autos, even a distant cousin of the Cobalt, the Saab 9-3 with the 2.0T motor..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...18#ht_6103wt_0

Grr. Universal. It says you need the turbo manifold and a downpipe.. Could you get both of those from the Saab 2.0T? Or what other options do you have? Let's say you bought this kit in the link.. What else would you need to make this work? Price ideas on the manifold? Could I use the stock downpipe or is it a different set-up? I have a GMPP catback, and will be replacing the header/dp/cat early next summer.. So everything will have very good flow.. I'm not worrying about making insane power, just a little added scoot.. I'm willing to work with it a bit if it looks promising..?

Turbo header? Can you get that from the 9-3 or something like it? I don't want to custom build anything. I want to be able to buy what I need pre-made..
