[QUOTE=Zooomer;2213553]You haven't driven one then. A turbo always has lag unless it is sized small enough to limit top end HP. We made 350ft/lbs and 350WHP with ease. I'm not sure those numbers can be combined and met with either a turbo or a blower.

In the 3800 market the cars come with roots blowers. We've had turbo kits for years. The twin charge GP we did went 9's in a months time. Power is smooth with no turbo lag. The larger the turbo you run, generally the more efficient it is and the more power you make at a given psi level. In other words this kit allows us to use a large turbo and still have instant boost like a blower car (actually a little more). At 15psi our kit will make more power than a typical stand alone turbo setup at 15 psi or a blower at 15psi. Plus by playing with pulley size, boost levels, and bypass opening, you can tune in whatever power curve you want.

And most importantly, I think you're going to really like the price considering what all you get with this kit.[QUOTE]

So what is this gonna run price wise?

I will be as bold to say that the engine would be better off and the car make more power with the same setup minus the sc.
When the bypass is open the blower robs about 10 HP. That is easily made up for by the larger more efficient turbo.

Power delivery is smooth and no streetability is lost. With the boost controller all the way down the car peaks at 16psi and makes about 300WHP depending on how high you spin it. you can adjust the blower bypass opening so that it's a slow lazy controlled spool all the way to lightning bolt instant full boost. We have it set in the middle but it's easy to adjust from there.

As for pricing we are about to release the TVS for a little over 2k and we know that people will like how easily it bolts on. This twin charged kit will be available for a price that beats out of competition. Quality will be top notch because we build all of our own pipes and manifolds. The downpipe bolts to a catback and will work with any aftermarket exhaust but boost and performance will be limited if you have a stock catback. Since this takes the place of your current header and downpipe, we expect a lot of people to sell those off and use their existing fuel system. this means that you'll just be buying the turbo, manifold, intercooler and a ton of piping. Normally this would cost a fortune but we mandrel bend all of our own stuff and order piping 1000' at a time. it will be priced right, if you want we'll even do a group buy like we did on the headers.

What means of fuel management is this using?, also it seems alot of people on here have had MAF issues with turbos

How are you overcoming these issues

The kit comes with a custom MAF sensor setup and PCM tuning for it.

one thing I forgot to mention, you will need to run a large pulley. Stock size or even larger would work.
