How many people have the Stage 1 kit????

We just completed the Stage 1 install and called GM Technical Assistance for the upgraded program. They were very curious to get feedback from us when done. From what I understand, we just completed the first install of a Stage 1 kit... according to them anyway! This couldn't be possible... COULD IT???

BTW... There was a SUBSTANTIAL increase, seat of the pants, in 2nd gear. We have the supercharger off and are awaiting the pulley...

Stage 1-2 upgrade kit is on backorder!!!!

Just down from GMPP...

There are 150 units on backorder due to a shortage of parts. We are 4th on the list and were told it would be 2 weeks before the Stage 2 kit will ship!

Stage kits in Canada

Wow, we canadians are getting ripped off, I got quoted $1264.00 by my dealer for the stage 2 kit plus install. Even wit the exchange rate it is way cheaper to get it for $750 american. Any advise from getting this across the boarder? Is the box big??

a stock ss vs a stage 2 ss, the stage 2 will get about 3 cars ahead, if that is you shift properly did it last night, we both were impressed, i messed up the first run, i shifted too early so he was about a car and a bit behind, the second run, i got it and he was a few cars back, its worth it.

Price In edmonton

I looked in to pricing in Edmonton And here are the numbers P/N: 17801947 = $802.75, P/N: 17803229 = $1050.00 down from the original $1264.75 and P/N: 17803230 = $499.75. This is at Romanuk in Leduc and they are going to be doing one of the guys cars first so they will know how to do the install the also have a guy who is reprograming ECM beyond the stage 2 package soon. However wil void warranty likely.

I am going to go around and see what I can do to lower the price if anyone does do a stage 2 I know of some people that could copy the reflash. All you would need to do is buy all of the parts off the shelf the pully and the belt might be off the shelf it wouldn't be the first time a company created a parts kit just to over charge on the convenince fee of putting it all in one box because all of those parts have part numbers seperatly.

I'll order a stage 2 if you pay for shipping from here.

Warranty's can't be voided!!! Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 (federal law) protects us from that.

Good luck with that!!!

Overboost an engine with an aftermarket pulley and find out for yourself.

If a modification, not authorized by the manufacturer, is found to have caused the failure of a specific component, it WILL NOT BE COVERED !!!!

Put in an aftermarket radio and blow your speakers, NOT COVERED!!!

Put a lowering kit on your car and wear out your strut mounts, NOT COVERED!!!

I called my dealer and i can get stage 2 for $675.00 but the only problem is they say its out of stock at there supplier and they have no idea how long it would take to get it. Shouldn't they be getting it from the same place all these other chevy dealers are getting them from.

Regardless of what anyone says, Warranty's can't be voided, PERIOD

Now you can make it so that your warranty will not cover sertain things if your modifications or terrible driving was a direct cause of the problem...

Think of it this way, if you put an aftermarket exuast on your car and it isnt running quite right, will a dealer fix it?? no of course not you put an aftermarket muffler on, does it Void your warranty NO thats is just plain stupid, if the next week your window leaks, you can go to the dealer and get it fixed under warranty, just becuase one thing gets messed up does not mean your warranty is no good, it just wont cover that part.

People who even use the phrase "voided warranty" or "your warranty wont be good" are just being plain silly, there is no possible way to void an entire warranty unless you managed to total your car in which case that would be the least of your worries.

If we went by the stupid theory that so many people seem to have on here about "voiding a warranty" well than dont put that aftermarket kit on your car becuase when your headlight gets moisture in it they wont fix it becuase you "voided your warranty"

People who think you warranty can be voided need to re-evaluate how much they THINK they know about cars

--On a side note I have no intetion of pissing anyone off but I have had a long week and I am sick and tired of this Voided warranty crap it just isnt possible or true

Not to beat a dead horse... BUT! Mitsubishi is monitoring SCCA's forum's and voiding the ENTIRE WARRANTY of anyone that is autocrossing their EVO. IT IS HAPPENING!!! I was also very clear that it is ITEM SPECIFIC and must be a direct result of a modification.

I just don't want people to think it can't happen. It can and will!!!

Maybe the Stage II was rated with the stock intake and the restriction of the stock intake limits the HP.

The Stage 1-2 Upgrade is available but we are still waiting for the complete Stage 2 kit to be released. I have 3 complete kits on order (Stage 1 and 1-2 Upgrade) and for some reason we have already received the 1-2 upgrade and are waiting for the Stage 1?!?!?

It appears GM has run out of oversized injectors now...

BTW... Our Yellow Stage 2 SS appears to be sold!!! We still have 1 of every color on the lot and an Upgrade Kit on the shelf! Come see me...
