Okay good people, FCOTM is back in action, after a short hiatus. In order to get people a little more involved this time around, I will be giving 'CobaltSS.net' stickers to each winner and runner up every month, long as i keep stickers in stock

Voting will be November 28th - November 30th.

How to Submit your Cobalt for the Featured Car contest:

1. Make a NEW thread in the "Featured Car Showcase" section with the following Information:
(If you have already created a submission page there is no need to keep creating a new thread every month, you may use the same one)

Descriptive Thread Title: ie: Johnny’s Featured Car Submission
Name: John Doe
Location: Ohio
Car Info: Car Year, Make, Model, Trim:
Stock Options: XM, onStar ......
Modifications: (you may divide them in categories if you wish to do so. ie Exterior, Interior, Performance…)
Future plans: whatever plans
Other info: (ie: shows won….)
Display up to 10 quality and well deserving images following all the text above
1 Video is allowed

2. Follow the Contest Rules:

- You must be the owner of the car you are submitting.
- All images posted should be hosted in our gallery to assure all members and visitors can see them. (If they can't see your car, how can they vote for you?)
- 10 images max. Please take the time to take good pics.
- Place 1 picture that you would like to use if you win at the top of your submission page BEFORE any of the text.
- If you do not know how to post pictures click here, How To Post Pictures.
- One submission per person per month
- Past winners may enter again after 12 months from the original winning date.
- No external links
- You will NOT be up for voting if you do not have a link to your thread in that months thread.
- You will NOT be up for voting if you get banned.
- Disqualification and permanent banning from the website for creating multiple accounts for voting needs, per the website rules for creating multiple accounts.

how is the voting gonna be different to remove the popularity contest? some sort of weighted average somehow?

 

We are working on a way to have a poll with seperate categories for each submission....

Things like performance mods, exterior mods, interior mods, and overall look will possibly be the categories you will place votes on.

The winner for cotm will have the best overall score. Kinda like what car and driver does.

It wont eliminate popularity, but it should help cut it down.

 

we are HOPING to somehow set up a checkbox of categories for the individuals and yeah whoever gets the most wins, or something like that. idk if it will happen, or happen this month anyway, but i'm trying!
