your car is tuned specifically for 93 octane. i don't know if there is a huge difference between 91 and 93 octane. so i wouldn't go WOT too much. and BP has up to 10% ethanol. its fine to use

It's al good because all I use is bp or shell I like that nitrogen **** lol. J/k it's all the same crap. Our cars are tuned for low octane and high meaning if the car see'z kr like alot in a certain amount of time it'll go into low octane. Te high octane I think is tuned for 91 because in the owners manual it says lowest grade u should go to is 91 which means to me it's tuned for 91. Just be careful to only get gas where u know they refill there tanks alot.....

I know its nice to save money on gas but, really if the price diffrence is like what 10 cents or 15 cents, thats like maybe a buck or two saved on a tank. but its your call buddy! just my opinon

our cars pcm has different fuel tables just for situations like this. It has a high octane fuel table, and a low octane table. I learned this recently when I accidentally put 83 octane in my car. The pcm will recognize that a lower octane fuel is being used and knock back timing so you don't blow **** up. Hence why you will see significant horsepower reduction if you do so.

Would I make a habit of putting a lower octane in my tank? No. But it helps to know that our pcm compensates for stupidity.
