Hey everyone, I want to run E85 in my 2009 Auto 2.2 LAP Turbo'd, what will I have to do to be able put this in my tank? I was told that I might have to get bigger injectors and re-tune. I have #60 injectors now and hp tuners. Let me know, thanks!

My 60 pound injectors won't work with it? And what is it about E 85 that makes it need bigger injectors and fuel pump?

 

More fuel equalls more power (with turning up the boost) and since e85 practically doesn't pre detonate you'll be making more power and thus need more fuel. Do you have a fully built block?

 

Maybe but what are your mods and power level. No way I can see a stock fuel pump will keep up with fuel pressure doing full E-85.

 

Is the LS fuel pump different than the SCs? I have 80s and fuel pressure regulator

 

I would think they would but I could be wrong.

I did 2.8 pulley on 60s with E85

Basically all you do is drain tank (can jump the fuel pump fuse and pump it all out) and fill up with E85.

Oh and my pump was fine. Pretty sure its the same as SS

 

Ok so far I'm hearing upgrade fuel system with 80# injectors and a better fuel pump with a tune. What fuel pump should I go with?
