just noticed my wifes silver 2006 ss with the 2.4 motor...there is opening level with fog lights that is empty. allowing one to see ac grille/radiator?

it sure looks to me as if there was a grille there at one time as i see marks along center of opening around edges on bottom and sides yet no attachment clips of any sort?

very strange yet neither myself or my wife have a pictures or anything that would show us if there was one....bought new a year ago march.

the grille above the bumper skin is intact and fine just wierd that below is empty and also the scuff like marks as if there was a bumper there that was removed or blew off or something... never had an accident or anything.

any help appreciated.

On the 2.4 there is supposed to be a grill it snaps into place.

 

yes, the 2.4's should have a lower grill down there......there aren't any attachment clips on the bumper though. Just clips on the grille itself that snaps in and holds it in place.

$10 says someone with an SS that didn't come with it snatched it off yours.

 

anyone with a picture i can see what i am trying to replace?

and i see rub marks along paint but no attachment spots for it... does this grill have its own clips or double back tape? i assume it must be a tite pressure fit of part?

any help appreciated... this is a 2006 cobalt ss 2.4 coupe...automatic.

the SS grille above bumper is of course the black plastic that looks like louvers... what exactly does/did the bottom one look like?

again this is the non-supercharged SS 2.4.

Both of these are SS SC cars, but the grill, and fitiment is the same.

Yes, the lower valence is SS SC (or aftermarketed install).
