Does it? I still have that high cut exhaust "outlet" for lack of better words.

Pretty sure the 08' 2.4's had 167 lb-ft torque.

OP, you are correct about them having a little more torque.

Sadly though, they didnt come with the nice internals.

I still have yet to think of a logical reason as to why they didn't make 08s with forged internals. Maybe it was cheaper for the last year of production?

2.4 coupe. My only problem, auto. Sedans are abut more convienient, but I have two kids 2 and 5. It's worth the hassle for me to have the coupe. Besides, the wife has a sedan. A pos Mazda 3. At least it's 5speed.

I never really cared for the whole auto vs manual thing. I can drive either and I wouldn't let that be a deciding factor on a car, some people are like that and it confuses me.

Manuals are more fun. You could have the most boring car and throw a manual in it and it's fun to drive. the Saturn Vue comes to mind when I write this.

i enjoy having a manual, lets me get a little more spirted when i drive.

i would take the 2.4 Sedan, just for the fact that has 30+ horse and more displacement, easier to make power down the road. The 2.4 Sedans also came with all the options, youd have to find an LTZ 2.2 to ge the same options.

Ive gone 14.9 in my 2.4 coupe 5 speed with a K&N SRi and a cat back. went 15.3 bone stock, its not "fast" but its a fun daily for sure.

I won't let it be I deciding factor either. Although I do prefer manual. I got mine on, what I believe was an uptrade, against my 03 Kia Sorento. I didn't like that it was auto. But, that wasn't changing my mind
