Anyone with 2006 2.4 cobalts look out to be recieving a recall notice from gm sometime soon. i just received a recall for that side roof beam impact thing. like i figured? but the thing is it dont make sense the article said only 2006 SEDANS. mines a coupe. but if it effects some 98000 balts there isnt just that many in sedans its gotta be all of them in 06. so anyways. it says its all free. but i just want to know what itl look like when they do it. i have to call the dealer and take my baby in and theyl fix it i guess. well i just thought id let some guys know.

You won't see it. It is a Styrofoam piece about 10 inches long and 3 inches wide that is installed between the headliner and roof just behind where the visors are mounted.

is it just the ss sedans? I know there is a recal out for the 2.2's for their injectors. I had an appointment to get it taken care of but i was too busy sleeping off a hangover to go... oops.

i got mine today and 2 weeks ago they said mine wasnt gonna get it
