well if ur willing to pay an average of $3,000 more for 5 more horsepower then go ahead...

I luv the style of the eclipse.... i personally like the older style like the 95 thru 99.

the newer ones looks kinda plain.... meaning just too normal.. lol just dont look very sporty.

you can adjust the boost in the cobalt and youll still have more hp than the eclipse...
just dont look to sad when ya get ur eclipse and get beaten by a lil 4banger ss/sc... lol

lol it doesnt look like it could be very heavy but probably so. theres something about the way it looks that kinda bothers me but i cant put my finger on it. but the interior looks nice so i think i might wait on the cobalt and see how these drive.

I was just checking this out a while ago at the Mitsu website.....

Front end is hideous, rear end is equally hideous......

And from the side the center section reminds me of the Nissan "Z"........

Interior is very modern and cool looking. Adn the 650 watt audio system would be nice........

I think the new eclipse is an excellent jump in design. It's aesthetics are futuristic and really pushes the industry to get to that next level of body design. I don't beleive the cobalt and the eclipse are in the same class. Especially at this point, I would say the monte carlo SS would be more of a match. Thats 6cyl, for 6cyl. I feel the cobalt holds its ground well in the 4cyl arena and I can forsee the aftermarket coming up with excellent things for the ecotec (as they already are...). It's up in the air, the new kids on the block vs. the veterans of the sport compacts.

One thing is for sure, I've always owned a chevy and I've always been happy.

Whoever gets one better like their radio. With that weird shaped head unit, I imagine it'd be awhile before an install kit comes out for it. The Mazda 3 was selling real well out of the gate, and it still took close to a year for Metra & others to get a kit out for it.

I saw it at the car show too and i thought it was pretty decent looking. I wouldn't get one but its alright. I thought the headlights were kinda funky. I don'tknow about the driver and passenger windows though i mean they are big and all but there is that little piece in the front thats not a part of the window. The tails i think could use a bit of color I'm not feeling the all white kinda like on the Lexus SUV (which one?) it just doesn't look right you know. Sorry I'm at school and i can't see the picture i'm going off of what i remember. Too bad there isn't a GSX model all-wheel drive and turbo (and heavy as h*ll though) always sounds good to me. I wonder why there won't be a GSX. You know little rice kiddies would buy that up.
