2006 Ss S/c Or 2006 Rsx Type S

Welcome to the site.
Well you've come to a Cobalt forum so you'll get biased answers
Best advice is to drive both then come back and address questions/concerns reguarding the test drive.

well they both look great but becasue power(not just peak) is the other part of the criteria you have no choice but to buy the cobalt , which perosnally I find looks much better

Have you driven both ? If not ... do that first... Let us know what you think about each one... To me the decision was mostly a matter of taste... I prefered the styling of SS/SC... Price was right too...
BTW... Welcome !! You should get an SS so you can hang out here and talk with us... well not that you couldnt if you got an RSX... but it would be more fun the other way !

you came to the wrong forum for suggestions. if you want unbaised answers then go to another forum that doesn't relate to honda's or chevy's. i have an 04 rsx type S that i got in 2003 before the cobalt came out but it would have been a tough choice for me if the cobalt ss/sc was out due to the price difference and power. the cobalt ss/sc is faster and depending on your taste it might look better. i personally love my car and wouldn't trade it for a cobalt but that's cuz i've customized mine to my liking. like other members have said, test drive both of them and let us know what you think. if you end up getting the rsx you can still come over here and post. i'm living proof of that.

as much of a fan as i am on GM cars , the rsx x is a nice car , and they are well balanced
power wise they lack some compaired to the ss/sc , but they do it with out being supercharged
over all they are worth the money
personally i like the cobalt a little more , as well the same for the ion redline
in the end your the 1 that has to make the choice , and then live with your decission
everyone has their own taste , and as said before test drive both , preferably in the same day , then make your decission , but also ask alot of questions first
im also willing to bet youll get alot more grief for this kinda post on a honda/acura board

Also use your driving style to help you choose, the RSX has a very high power band and very little torque. The SS/SC has instant power and torque even the SS/NA I drove had alot of low end grunt.
