Why does Fox News get called out so much for lying or presenting false information? What news outlet do you use that never gives out false information or have some sort of bias. No matter what answer you give me, you are wrong, because there is no such thing. And if I'm not mistaken, Fox News actually is known for having the least inaccuracies in their news posting, but that's not the point. I'm not a fan of Fox News, nor am I a Bush lover before you start flaming, but it just pisses me off the apparent bad rap Fox News supposedly has if you talk to anyone who is left of center. Liberals think Fox is evil, conservatives think CNN is evil, so who is right? I just think you should have said "the media" in place of "Fox News" that's all. That would be like me saying that all Democrats are corrupt and lie, so anyone who votes for a dem. must be also. Give me a break. I guess I'm as annoyed at all this liberal vs. conservative, rebuplican vs. democrat, fox news vs. CNN bullshit as you are w/ all this SC vs. TC stuff.

This is another thing I hear a lot too that I just don't understand. The insurance of the SS/SC was one of the main factors that influenced my purchase. My insurance on the SS is slightly less than my wife's 2 year-old 4-door wagon (Pontiac Vibe) and she has no tickets or accidents, and I have 2 tix & 1 accident. So the people complaining about the SS/SC insurance rates need to get new quotes or switch providers. Have you checked the insurance on a performance car w/ a V-8 lately? I was quoted nearly double what the SS/SC is when I was looking at an '02 f-body and an '04 GTO. Even a Grand Prix GTP was higher than the Cobalt. So yeah, I guess if you're comparing an SS/SC to maybe an Aveo, then maybe the insurance is high, but it's just not that bad.

 

Wow, way to blow a joke about Fox News way out of proportion.

For me the insurance on my SS/SC was only 3$ less then what it would have cost me every six months then for a 350z and I think it was 10$ then a GTO. It was more then a WRX, RSX-S, and a new eclipse.

 

It was nice, cool and crisp out this morning. Hit an open road and rowed through a couple gears. I love the sound of the SC, and a pull on a morning like today was unreal. Everyone I take for a rip loves the sc as well, turbos are everywhere but people turn to look when they hear that whine :P

That doesnt really matter. Its still the same displacement motor but with no parasitic loss from the supercharger. Turbos are all free power so it will be faster than the ss/sc.

 

Your logic is flawed. What you said is correct but you can't just use the blanket statement that since displacements are the same and one has less parasitic loss that it's automatically a faster car.

There is much more to consider then that: traction, tune, weight, among many others are also a factor.

They are (in fact) quite obviously the best reporting news agency in the world.

What's so scary is how the mind-numbed followers of the "drive by media" (CNN, etc.) are so clueless as to how they have been brainwashed. That's what's really scary ...

If someone means that nobody's perfect, that's correct. But if a person believes that FOX News has an agenda as does the Left Wing Liberal nut case news agencies, then they would be so far off the mark - I wouldn't even know know where to begin to start correcting them.

The reverse is actually the truth. People need to watch Fox News to get the complete story on what is going on in this world.

If someone had made a wise crack about Colbert or Stewart being lying liberal jackasses, there would have been just as many if not more backlash from all the young people who think that those guys are god's gift to news media. Honestly, I don't care, I guess your post was just annoying already, and the Fox news comment just made it worse. I don't really like O'reilly by the way either. Firemanfrank is the extreme, but I wouldn't say he's any different than many of my friends that frequent the Daily Coast or think 9/11 was a conspiracy.

 

Do you think people actually take Colbert and Stewart seriously? I see them as comedy relief for the political scene. That's it. I know a lot of people who like them but don't take it seriously.
