Well.... I had to take my Cobalt SS2.4 into the dealership last night. This is actually quite comical..

Right after Christmas I had to take her in, due to the key getting stuck in the ignition. They had the car for 2 days and finally replaced the steering column.

Who woulda guessed - its happening again.. about half a dozen times since I got the car back its keeping the key from me when I put the car in Park.. The only way to get it out, is to shift out of park then slam it back into park and it MIGHT let it go. By the way - I have a Auto...

So for the other problems.... I was literally STUCK in my car... my drivers side door would NOT open. THe handle felt like it was not catching anything inside the door.. so I put the window down and tried opening it from the outside - nothing.. Now i start laughing to myself while calling my wife to see if she can come out of our house to open the door. Yeah, I had to get out the passenger side.

Other Problems -
1.)Shocks sound like they are going to explode when hitting speed bumps when its cold outside
2.)Air Conditioner / Heater makes a really loud squeeking noise when on settings 1-4

Needless to say - I have a rental car. And guess what they gave me? A 4 door Red Cobalt LS.. HAHA.. and the funny thing is.. IT DRIVES SO MUCH SMOOTHER... /sigh

 

rental cars are so much fun u can beat the crap out off them and they cant say anything that is u get the insurance lol

 

I think it may be time to trade her in towards a WRX or a G6.. or something. My Warranty is up in November but she only has 24k miles.

So depressing - I love that car lol

Well here is what they replaced:
1.) The Shifter
2.) The locking mechanism within the drivers door
3.) The left front shock
4.) The Blower Moter for my AC/ Heater
5.) All 4 Rotors needed resurfaced
6.) Back Brakes Replaced
7.) Oil Needed Changed

Ugh... stupid cars...

 

Eh, if I ever trade the balt in or sell it or something, it'd probably be towards an Infi too.
