Black Friday sales?

Ok, forgive me, I am a Canadian, and this whole black friday thing is still new to me (last year iirc some local retailers were even getting in on this to deter Canadians from going stateside for deals).

Anyway, when do the retailers we tend to go to start announcing what their sales might look like?

Can maybe this thread be use to co-ordinate who is doing what for black friday?

I have been itching to buy some specific parts for my car, but with my dollar having lost about 25% buying power over about a year ago(?), I am reluctant to pull the trigger on too much at full price...

I have a Hahn intake that I was wanting to match to chargepipes, but it took two months to get a total with shipping - all the while international markets were hurting my dollar...
But for the right price I'd but someone elses chargepipes & matching intake...
There are other things I am very interested in buying, but it's all a waiting game now.

Seeing as they are north of the 49th, if Powell sold go-fast (ect) parts, this would be a non-issue;
I have spent more on Powell than anybody else this year by a long shot.

I understand that you have to pay to play, but with the low dollar it's as though everyone state-side has jacked their parts a good 30% (after shipping).
