Calling GM techs , HHR compatiblity question

I have a question about the 3 spoke steering wheel in the HHR . I know the wheel WILL bolt up in the cobalt since HHR has the same column , I assume the radio control wiring connectors are the same too . Question is airbag compatibility . Will the HHR airbag work with the Cobalts existing wiring and modules ???

The 3 spoke HHR wheel is 10 times cooler than the Cobalt steering wheel .

considering the radio is totally different (used in new impalas). I doubt the radio connectors are the same, the airbag is of a different size & althought it will bolt up you will loose your functionality of your controls unless they make an adapter. Not to mention you will throw an airbag code because I am postive they use different sensors.

Speaking from hands on knowledge , you'd be surprised how much really is the same under the skin on platform sharing cars .

The same wheel is in the Torrent I test drove, nice looking wheel but the radio buttons are certainly anoying. Too small for my liking. Though I would really like that deck in the cobalt and sadly it will probably be there next year or so.
