Chips in paint

Anyone have chips in your paint along the bottom of your side doors...about 6 inches from the bottom of the skirt. I have what looks like 2 rock chips in the paint. I never experienced this before on any of my cars, usually its in the hood.

Could this be a paint defect?

What's the best way to cover them up and paint them up?

Any ideas welcomed.

Sounds like someones been spinning their tires in the gravel... the doors are a area prone to rock chips on FWDs that play in rough areas. Also GM Parts should have colour matching touchup paint. I just got one of Laser Blue. Cost me $6 for about 150 ml.
