Cobalt Overall space?
well im just gonna ask a pretty broad question here....is ther alot of room in teh cobalt? I've usually got at least one other person in my current car with me, and i play hockey also, but have noticed the trunk opening is quite small. Not to mention where would i put my sticks on teh way to the rink?
Any hockey players wanna chip in here? I really want my own vehicle and a base cobalt 2.2 5 speed, only option - XM radio would be perfect for me. I have looked at them in person, but i want the opnions of owners who usually have enough junk in their car to help me out. Thanks!

Dont get the 2.2. Get the SS/SC then gut it. You'll have tons of room! lol. But yeah HUGE trunk, small opening. The GTO has a small trunk AND a small opening. Which is really sad <:'(

Hey i play ice hockey here also. i also usually have more than one person in my car on the way to practice. the small opening is fine. i can fit my bag in there easy enough. just have to spread your stuff out inside of it. i can fit 2 bags in my trunk and i just put my sticks in the car. They really dont get in the way at all. I say go for the balt!!

thanks to everyone who posted so far...
I agree the trunk itself is a fair size for a compact car, but the opening, because the length of the back window, is really quite small.
I will go for another test drive soon and keep everyone posted
I definitely can see myself cruisin around in a cobalt

Heh, after stuffing four people (with the full size 225/75/15 spare tire) in the trunk of the Caprice Classic, i'm pleased to say, one and a half people can fit in the trunk of the Cobalt (SS SC) and i haven't folded down the seats yet. Hope this helps!
