Current Problems You Are Rolling With

What has been going on with your ride that you have been either planning to fix, or have just been putting plans of fixing it on the backburner? I know we all have some issues, some we may not even know what they are.

Hopefully we can help other members as well as vent in this thread

As for me...

Front struts are shot, one is leaking (new ones on order!)

Clicking either from axle or control arm bushing (gonna replace bushing when i do the struts)

Small hissy exhaust leak somewhere... have header gasket but way too lazy to replace

Front brakes are about shot... just riding these suckers out

I fear my passenger window is rolling up so slow its gonna quit on me one day soon

I.C. pump sometimes works and sometimes doesnt, plan to replace with a bigger pump one day

Haha I was just thinking about this ****.

Need to replace the timing tensioner.
Need sway bar bushings.
Need new steering shaft.
Eventually going to need a new clutch.

Thanks for making me stress about it again.

both rear brakes chirping while driving- too lazy to fix
Steering wheel shaking back and forth, but no apparent tire balance problem- should be putting dr's on next week and i will recheck balance on road tires. Going to order cab bushings from Powell, pretty sure that's it, didn't start till i put sportlines on it, and when i did the steering got tighter side to side. Alignment is good.
Sunroof button trim ring off again- this time i'm using glue
Outstanding otherwise
Winter will bring cab bushings, wr-1 change, e47 tune, maybe M52's, pcv seperator, and cleaning my valves. ( pretty much park it all winter)

Lol. Ebrake hasn't worked for almost 3 years.

Been needing new brake pads for a while and possibly rotors too

Need to replace 2 wheel hubs from drivers side

Install fenderline that's sitting at home in drivers wheel. Car keeps ripping them lol

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

not much for issues lately, the biggest one i have is a sticky drivers rear caliper, and crappy ebrake. i have some caliper for the whole car, ready for powder coating and install whenever i have time, and money.

i just took care of what i call a major issue in the whole suspension. also i ended up removing my phenolic spacer last week due to a serious boost leak it had. this boost leak was a constant problem with this piece. no matter what i did to solve it. once i removed it the boost leak was gone. im my personal experience the phenolic spacer was a waste of money. according to the butt dyno my car appreciates me removing it.

@ riceburner, i have mentioned it to you in the past, but i think you need strut mounts too. they are a reasonable piece to buy and will compliment your new struts well. a common trait that happens when a strut mount is shot is clicking noises. it is commonly mistaken as some other problem.

Paint could use a good buff, that'll probably be put off until next summer now though. Also driver side retrofit has been leaking water and I can't for the life of me find out where from.

my ic pump is dead. despite my efforts. but too broke to buy one. front suspension is loud. dunno why. pass window is slower than molasses. and still have the ticking sound til the car is warm. haven't been able to get in and look at it.

Front drivers side wheel bearing needs to be replaced. So I've decided to do a 5 lug swap and I'm just waiting on the brembo brakes to come in from CED and I'll have that fixed.

I've got shaking in the steering wheel and I'm pretty sure the CAB's are shot. No parts on order for that since I'm waiting to just replace the entire control arm with the fe3,5 arm.

Bad ABS sensor rear left
Blown strut mount front left
Bad ball joint front left
Shot CABs
Ripped drivers seat
Out of alignment
Needs tie rods
Small exhaust leak (likely bad flex)
Bad oil pressure sensor
Wideband half installed

---------------
Bought and waiting for:
LNF control arms
Solid CABs
Moog tie rod ends
Moog sway bar links
Moog strut mount
Lifetime alignment package
Oil Pressure sensor
Wideband bung

Hopefully I will get all of these parts so I can install them, rotate my tires, and get an alignment this weekend.

Drivers seat will be dealt with in good time (LNF or Recaro seats)

Shaking steering wheel and sound of marbles somewhere behind the dash
Front breaks make a grinding noise when heavy breaking - new pads , skimped out on rotors
Rear shoes as well in the future
Downpipe atleast, header if i got extra $$ - Putting this off FOR EVER
Tires and rims - but ive always been one to put this off for WAY to long, i dont care my car still runs awsome
On a good less stressful note, just did a nice tune up, running better than ever and absolutely loving it

Rear calipers stick when e-brake is used (need to fix before the track next month because I NEED the ebrake)

Nasty exhaust leak, what else is new

Need to re-route catch can to intake so driveability doesn't suck, but its been like that all year and SC stuff is coming off soon anyways.

Boost falls a bit up top

Trans is notchy, has been since day one. If its not broke don't fix it!

Need to grind brakes for the slicks. Not really a problem, just something that needs to be done.

Im sure when I get in my car I'll find 10 more things lol

Mine is running like a champ. Only issue is some steering column rattle under hard braking. Everything works and functions as it should.
