Cutting out under boost

From everything I have read I have a wet maf but I just wanna check to see what all of you think. About a week ago I was driving my car at 70-80 mph on the highway in the rain. I brought it home parked it and thought nothing of it. The best started it up again went driving and in second gear under boost. It cut out and then came back on, the same thing happened in third. Mods are: CIA, charge pipes with a maf relocate to the lower and an intercooler. As well as a atomppheric bypass. I am just wondering 1. If it is in fact the maf (I have no check engine). 2. Should pulling it and letting it dry fix it?.

Thanks in advance!

If it didn't happen before the rain, and started acting up after the rain, it is most likely a wet MAF. And yes generally they go back to working normal after you let them dry out.

mine s/c car does it in heavy rain depending on the air filter. it seems like the cheap cone filters are worse, i have a aem dry flow and it doesn't seem to let as much water in.

the cheap ebay filter let everything in and ran terrible in the rain.

it also seems like once to gets back the dirty rain water gets the maf dirty and it runs worse until i clean it. pain in the ass when you gotta take off the wheel/tire and inner fender part way.

i want to get a hydro guard thing but haven't yet.

i pull off the filter and spray some maf cleaner on the maf while its still on the car and it runs good after that until next heavy rain
