Community Service, have him visit the family and apologize in person and offer to help with the funeral or something of that nature. Maybe a public apology, there are many other ways of going about things without automatically throwing someone in jail. That's like out of sight out of mind, which is what should be done with people that do much much more serious offenses..Just my opinion though. I can't imagine how the other family feels about this either, I'm not saying it's going to be easy for either party, but everyone deserves a second chance to prove themselves.
Ehh, I'd say he's going to get some jail time. I wouldn't agree with a long sentence based on the info I've seen though.

I think there are alot of variables that even we don't and won't know about. I wish all involved the best though. It's going to be a rough go at things for a while to come.

I know, I am trying to recruit.

Does Jeffry Dahmer deserve a second chance??? So no not everyone deserves a second chance.

That is your opinion he should only get CS. I disagree with it, but I won't say how incredibly wrong/incorrect/stupid/gay/ghey/gh3y you are for thinking someone that killed someone else only gets Community Service, I really won't say it.

Ya'll make it seem like it was all pre-meditated, like he planned to take this lady out. It's also ammusing how everyone seems to be quick to judge, when you know your guilty of the same damn thing, you just been lucky enough not to hit anyone. I'm not saying that, if he were to be completely and udderly at fault, that he should not do the time, but I am saying that I don't believe that they should just throw him away..

So quick to judge others, when I am sure you have done some not so honest things yourself. Ok, ok, you didn't kill anyone via vehicle accident, but still guilty of something...This is why a good lot of the decent people from this site don't post anymore, because it seems more and more people are so quick to talk junk and judge, and make people feel like morons for their personal thoughts and/ or ideas.

i've done lots on dishonest things... so what? i paid for my mistakes, and moved on... people said the same **** about me, and you know what?? honesetly?? looking back, i can say that they were right to say the things they did... if venom REALLY learns from this, then he will look back and think the same thing...

this is not passing judgement because we don't like someone spoiler, or new paint job... he ******* killed someone... was it planned out??? no... but how does that make it any better?

people talk **** about street racing all the time... he blatantly broke the law in dangerous situations time and time again... raced in traffic on a regular basis...

as far as "being thrown away", your time in jail is what you make it... he can either sit there in his bunk and not do ****, or he can do something to better himself and those around him... maybe he starts an anti-street racing foundation, or something along those lines to help make people aware of the consequences... things happen for a reason, and even though he's guilty, and will be in jail, which sounds shitty, VERY good things can happen from this

that mercedes looks like it was shoddily put back together. i wonder if it was a salvage title. unfortunately, he is going to get the book thrown at him, regardless of any evidence saying otherwise, as a message to street racers. he will most likely end up being an example, hence why he is being charged with 2nd degree murder as oppossed to say vehicular manslaughter. and with the recent event in philly where a married woman with children was hit by a street racer and killed, i very much believe that cvenom will serve as an example for what will happen to anyone caught street racing.

Every body makes mistakes, some severe some not, and most are stupid. I know how bad I felt when my bro went to jail, and it changed my life as well as his. Bad decisions can ripe people apart inside. He will learn some how and you will learn as well and hopefully other will learn to. It's in the past now and I guarantee he is regretting every single second of his decision. Keep us posted at least the people that care. We are all supposed to be a family here and all the bashing should be put to rest.

I agree with RBC...I remember when this site would start a fund to help out fellow members that were in need, and now it just seems like a good lot of people are just out to cast judgment and not support anyone anymore.. Anywayz...What happens will happen no matter how much we argue about it on here. I just wish the best for all involved and that everyone learns from this, or at least someone learns..

My thoughts are with you venom. Its unfortunate this has happened. All you guys accusing this guy already of street racing without the full story or facts needs to shut the **** up!! no ONE here knows what happened but venom and the old lady involved in this. This guy is innocent until proven guilty!!! give him at least that! What ever he did in the past has no bearing to what lead up to the accident! Everyone loves to point the finger but hates to take the blame.

does anybody realize that by him going to jail it is coming out of each and everyone of your pockets? where do you think your tax dollars go to? this guy could easily be punished in a way that is much more efficiant. Another added expense is another reason for the government to hike up the taxes whenever possible so why would you want to sent anyone who don't need to go to prison to prison?

Yea imagine yourself in the victims family's shoes. Is him going to prison gonna make their loss any less? is him going to prison going to bring her back? NO

This guy will have to live with this for the rest of his life. You're your own worst critic and garunteed he is going to punish himself more than any prison sentence is gonna punish him. Yes he should do community service and he should be a contribution rather than an expense. He obviously should never be allowed behind the wheel of another vehichle. Even house arrest would be better then sending him to prison.

Also the majority needs to stop being a bunch of uptight ******** cuz you're what makes the world the mess it is today.

Sorry to hear.. my condolences to the lady's family, and hopefully your brother is coping with what happened well; and not being extremely distrought by it. I hope you and your family are doing well..

As for anything to do with this board; nothing can be used in court; at least not that I know of in Canada. It is a computer.. IP #'s change.. id's get hacked.. its just a forum.. I can say that I was driving 255km/h on I-75 and they couldn't touch me.. because I can totally deny it and say it was merely because I wanted to be cool.. there is no worries of anything happening to the site..

I've been saying that for years!!! It needs to be done....look at the guy in the news who recently was placed on 5 years probation for driving through that Farmer's Market....the system failed there!

wasn't that guy who drove through the farmers market old?? Thats why he didn't get in ****, senior citizen. Gonna go on a rant here. Why do senior citizens no longer have to abide by the rules that everyone else in society does?? Most of them cant drive, but still have a license and low insurence rates. I think they are responsible for more accidents then any other age group. I was in the walmart 20 item express line tody with 3 items, anyway. Senior citizen man and wife both ring out seperate orders with like 30 some items a piece , apperently they are the golden age where rules dont apply. I cant wait till i am a "senior citizen" so i have no rules eithier. That sucks about venom, i dont agree with the second degree murder thing, as was said it should be involuntary manslaughter. Anyway that is all i just had to rant about old people cause latly they have been pissing me off, maybe its cause its PA and everyones old here, and the above couple post's reminded me of it.
