well, thats not what i was told when i signed my lease, they said that if 1 year or 2 i decided to just buy out the car then i can for the remaining value of the car, taking into obviously any down payment and lease payments

 

Your right, at anytime you can pay off your car for what is owing on the car, what is owing = the amount of money left to pay all ure monthly payments + residual(buyback)

My car is leased.The car can go back to bone stock(except paint).Nothing was cut removed or damaged during the build.

have you taken your car back to the dealer since you started modding it?

 

I Leased a Modded 2006 SS/SC. It was the Dealerships Test Car.
It had 1,000 miles on it when I got it.
They Leased it to me because I know the owner of the Dealership.
It already Had GMPP Stage 1 installed and a GMPP Extruded and Honed Exhaust Manifold.
I put on an AEM Air Intake and a DC Sports Strut Tower Brace.
I might buy the GMPP Catback to finish it off but I am not sure I want to spent the money.
I am not sure I want to buy it out after the lease it up in 3 years.
I am thinking of getting another truck.
Colorado or Silverado? not sure yet.

 

right now im at 15.9 but for a four door auto i think that aight since im about runnin the same times as a 2.4 ss. im hopin with my next batch of mods to be around a stock ss/sc

 

If you mod leased vehcle, you either have to buy it or return it to OEM specs, I am very familiar with leasing and if the car is not back to factory specs you will be cahrged up the wazoo to return it factory specs. The only way around this is to have all mods included in the deal, installed by the dealer and noted on the lease agreement at signing. It can become a very, very expensive. just imagine having to pay a delaer to remove all of your aftermarket parts and replace them with stock parts, you are paying for all the parts and the labour, it aint pretty

 

i know right now im lookin at 7000 to have the dealership do that.and im not even done modding. with a 6500 buy out at the end, im keppin it.

 

k, this is what i did. my lease payment was 2.4% over 4 years. i added 200/ mo. onto the lease so it is written up as 50,000 kms / year allowable mileage. the buyout is 3k plus taxes. hell, that so low, i could pop the car on a credit card at lease end.

Hi! I'm modding my lease. I got a corsa catback on the way,a hurst short throw shifter, and an injen cai. I to am going to buy it out at the end of the lease.

 

The face of the wheel is like one shade darker gunmetal than stock. The inside of the rim is like 2 shade lighter then stock. Then i got 4 coats of clear. They look AWESOME!! I thought at one point to get exacly what you are thinking, but i think they look to much like SS/NA wheels, or the 07 SS/SC wheel. This is very different and smoking hot!!

 

next engine mods are gonna be new engine mounts and maf,camshafts,adj cam gears,fuel pressureizer,wideband o2 and a mini afc 2.2. maybe nitrous between these 2 idk.after that set prolly next summer is gonna be pistons,connecting rods,head studs,head gasket,custom manifold if the turbo one isnt out yet,t3/t4 turbo idk what intercoller yet,colder plugs,safci and some other stuff to do my own turbo kit. and some other engine monitoring things.

body: verses b3 rear bumper,side skirts,ion redline wing,2 tone paint job, perfectly round cool down rims on prolly toyo p1r tires.

interior: flip up tv in head unit,which i may get next week, and re-apolstered head liner and new seats.

The dealership aint gettin this car back.

 

do you think the dealer will charge me money if i return my lease with tinted windows?

 

doubt it, they'll prolly sell it as a "package" lol
or charge the next guy a few more bucks for it
