Well on the back of it...one says SS and the other says SS and on the other side of the trunk it says "supercharged". When you open the hood, you will see a supercharger if it's the SS/SC. If the valve cover says "2.4 VVT", that's the SS model. The SS model has 17 inch rims, the SS/SC model has 18s.

Glad you asked.

SS/SC Standard Leather seats, 2.0L Supercharged motor making 205hp, and capable of 275hp with few mods.

SS/NA possible to get auto tranny, possible to get 4-door model. 2.4L making ~176hp, capable of ~210 a few bolt-ons.

Gas mileage is comprable. And the more you mod the SS/SC, the better it's gas mileage tends to get. I average 28-29mpg with my Stage 5 SS/SC, I only averaged 23mpg stock.

Crank or Wheel? And what "few" mods are you talking about?

I believe he means crank hp.

Also... the "205hp" rating stock is a boldfaced lie. Most of the guys on here with SS/SC's are dynoing at 210-220hp to the wheels stock.

It may also be of interest to know that the SS/SC actually gets better real world fuel mileage than the 2.4 SS.

Actually, that is not a bold-faced lie. GM rated it 205hp at 5600rpms, but she keeps pulling from there on out.

Honestly i thought that too but alot of ss/sc guys are stating some high 20's -low 30's mpg's. I think in the end they are pretty comparable and depend the the driver and type of driving. I personally get 29 with a 50/50 mix of highway city with a few wot pulls usually atleast once a day.

yea it depends on the driver; my dad has a 2.4 5-speed and I cannot ever equal his mileage, but he is a dad and maybe drives like an old man.
