DIY alignment..??
DIY alignment..??
Ok. So, been shot down by three local alignment shops, which is pretty much all of them. So, something to think about in advance when you lower your ride. Be sure your car can get up the ramp😅😪. All three shops were using a ten inch or so height on the platform for alignment equipment.
I'll admit, I've not researched one iota on this topic. I'd appreciate some laman terminology on whether it's practical to try and align your own ride or get it somewhat close even? I'd say, even with steering rack spacers installed, mine is off by a bit but I'm really dumb on this to know for sure. Let's just say both my fronts give an appearance of a defined inward stance toward the middle.>> / \. .. For the time being, I see no unusual tire wear but then again I'm not driving far yet.🤔

So they cant get the car on the alignment rack? Build a ramp with 2x10s stacking then on top of each other (the 1.5" per layer) start far back and then every 1 or 2feet add another layer.
Mm, well, had no choice but to go to a more expensive place but they have an " in floor" alignment rack. I didn't think of them before. None of these other place would tolerate any additional troubles and we're worried of liabilities.
