Engine swap?(not the cool kind)

hey dudes i been looking for an LSJ and in an effort to go cheap i have taken a look at some that work great minus a blown engine.

I still have my old 2.2 balt in the driveway so..... how easy and what all is involved in say... throwing my 2.2lap into the SS/SC to make it whole again? Besides a tune, would it just bolt up? PCM? Ect?

I have done a fair share of work on my car just never messed with the engine and its unfamiliar territory to me. Thanks for the help!

Simple answer, no. You would need to switch absolutely everything over and it wouldn't be worth the effort. And forgive me for asking, but what's the point of finding an ss/sc if you are going to swap an LAP into the shell? You could just as easily get an ss body kit and suspension for your car and you would have the same thing for a lot less money and time.

^Sorry to hear. Still I wouldn't do it. Now if you can get one of these blown up ss/sc's and find a low mile LSJ for it to swap in that would be a much better option.
