Post Exhaust Help

Hey everybody I am brand new to this form. I just bought a 2007 Cobalt SS Supercharged I love the car over all expect for one thing. Someone put and after market header and exhaust on it. The exhaust sounds rather nice until it it 3000+ RPMS and then sounds really raspy. I am wondering what I can do to get rid of the raspy aspect of it. Would just replacing the muffler do the job or should I go for a "Stock Exhaust System". I have seen some videos of the Corsa Touring Catback and I love but I can not find anything about where to buy it. Corsa's site does not have anything specifically for Cobalts so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also the poll is for later once I can get some ideas. If it boils down to a whole new system or just a muffler

Does it have a resonator? If not that would help with the raspiness.

good luck finding a corsa exhaust they arent made anymore, same as the GMPP exhaust they are both like gold for an SS/SC lol. your best bet is get on ZZP's website and get their exhaust. its very very nice for the SC. My good friend had one on his and it sound really nice, so give them a shot.

Zzp makes a huge resonator you can buy separately and it helps a ton on supercharged cars.

They used to sell it desperately anyway
Probably save you some descent coin since you already have an exhaust

My car has a header, catless downpipe, stock catback. Looks like it has a long resonator in the midpipe, still rasps. Planning on buying the ZZP kit in 2.5" with resonator and muffler options.
