Has anyone added an extra resonator to their GMPP exhaust? I was thinking about it because my header makes my exhaust sort of raspy. I don't even know if there is room for another resonator. Maybe instead of an extra one, a larger replacement for the GMPP resonator is in order? What do you guys think?

 

a longer resonator may help out a lot, i bought one for my 3" cause it was very loud and it worked for a while, had a great tone, til i took the cat off, now its loud again. Raspiness can come from exhaust leaks too, make sure everything is bolted tight and sealed before you go investing in things you may not need.

 

Everything is bolted up tight. I had to take care of that problem when I had the header installed. How long is the resonator on your 3" exhaust? And does anyone know how long the resonator is on the GMPP?

my resonator that i put on my 3" originally was 27 inches from end to end

 

Well, maybe when I have the car in for the clutch, I'll have them see what they can do with the exhaust also.

 

Its 15 inches, I measured it.
