Well...I know that you have to like something about you car. Otehrwise I'm sure you wouldn't've bought it. lol. So what is the best thing / combination of things? Tell us what model you have then proceed:



2006 Cobalt SS n/a coupe...black

1. I like the rims. I have the 17 inch high-polished ones. At first when I saw the new "official SS wheels that every SS has" I didn't liek them at all. I thought the little center circle around the hub was too big. But after the 17 inch polished ones were released I loved them. I like how they're so shiny.

2. I love my engine. Run that 2.4 on 93 and it's awesome. Great feedback, and great midrange. " Tune yer NAWZZZZ time and run 9's. " lol.

3. I love when my car startles me. I love when I'm walking through the parking lot, half paying attention, and I see the Cobalt and say " Damn, that things nice! " Then I remember it's mine. I love that. Having all sorts of people compliment me doesn't hurt either.

I love the second gear pull. Go slow up to about 3 grand and then slam on it....damn, what a feeling.

air conditioning/heater - i removed everything in my last car, kinda nice to have it back

The attention and looks that i get

 

Whine in 1st gear, whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine 2nd gear whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinein 3rd gear and 4th gear, whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine. and im doimg like 140without feeling it.

1. i love the quietness of the cabin
2. i love the looks i get in parking lots, i have people pointing showin their friends all the time at my work when im sittin in it on break or just walkin to it in parking lots
3. its always clean so it always really stands out no matter where it is
4. the intake is loud as hell so its awesome havin people look when im lettin it loose hah

1. Slowly getting to 4k rpm's in 2nd gear the slamming it til i redline and shift nice n strong
2. The stiff n comfortable Leather seats
3. Chriping in 2nd gear
4. The Whineeeee
5. The sound of the exhaust at idle
6. the whole rear end set up (taillights, lip kit, spoiler, and exhaust tip

 

I hate people that drive SRT10s! ( Jealous Jealous )

2005 Cobalt Sedan

I love the trunk space
I love the Pioneer premium sound system w/ MP3! (if it only had a USB plug or iPod plug)
I love the surprise on everyone's face when they lose a 4 cyl SEDAN!
I love the way it drives, even at 95MPH I can hold it in the lane with only 4 fingers (2 each hand)
I love the gas mileage!
I love the insurance discount, because of the built in car alarm. (i.e.) It shuts off the fuel to the engine when it's broken into

 

I really happen to like the OEM "tuned (if you will)" exhaust. The ones on the SS n/a and SS s/c with the chrome tips and the raspy tone. I had a friend do a film clip behind my car yesterday. Man...that thing sounds sweet. But damn that 4k-ish rev limiter for idle revs.

06 SS N/A

1. The sunroof...this is my first car with one.
2. XM...awesome, awesome radio system
3. The way the whole car looks.

 

05 SC/SS

1)Love saying that I was the first one in the STL area to get one.
2)Love saying "Its a little fast"

 

I like having one cup holder slightly larger then the other.

I like the fact that I STILL haven't seen another one on the road. I used to have a Camaro, and I used to see another one just like mine 2 or 3 times a day.

I like the fact that nobody knows what it can do. Those civics that pull up beside me and rev their engines have no clue that they're out of their league, and the RX8s, S2000s, and Evos have no idea that they're in for one hell of a race!

I like the fact that it's a GM... always been a GM guy.

 

i love the deep tone at about 3500 rpms with the injen cai
i love that hondas must spend money to get to where i'm at in my almost stock LS
i really love the amount of torque and the way you can feel it pull through traffic

The list could be enormous! But the reasons I love my SS!

1.) I love the 3500+ rpm range. 2nd /drool
2.) I love the straightaway right to my shop
3.) I love the S corner before the straightaway to my shop
4.) I love going home after work
4.) I love that my 3 year old daughter loves my car
5.) I love that I have 5 months to watch mods and the GM stages connect before I buy
6.) I love how the cool air has increased performance. (must have a Cai soon hehe)
7.) I love that my sunroof button has not popped off
8.) I love the fact Im the only one in town with one
9.) I love washing her
10.) I love watching potentials passing on me

Well... I must say it.... I LOVE this Injen SRI. Nice and loud without being tacky, and you can really hear the engine note change with the VVT kicks in. Awesome....

1. I love the gas milage. What? 100 miles driven on a tank of gas and still a little under 3/4 of a tank left. What?

The Acceleration
The Big Honkin spoiler that makes the rear view mirror useless.
The Nice "thump" of the Pioneer sub in the trunk.
The 18" rims
Corners like a dream, I have problems relizing how fast I'm actually going.

This car has everything I've wanted in a performance car since I was a kid (short of 400 SB, and it being a Camero).

 

i love to hate all of you cuz u all have yer SS's and im still waiting for mine. :P
