I have confirmed through my local dealer that for every 24 hour period that your vehicle is out of service for warranty work, YOU WILL BE CREDITED THOSE DAYS TO YOUR 3 YR POLICY. He also went on to say that it is a good idea to have some sort of record documenting down time, because they will not tell about that law upfront. He was surprised that I even mentioned it.
