Actually that's not true either. Its been well documented that octane boosters do absolutley nothing and in some cases DECREASE engine HP.

I do the Seafoam treatment at oil change time as well. Vac line then some in oil then change oil two days later or so.

I used Seafoam once in my old car, I just bought a bottle today and it says pour it into the tank. Do I just dump it in my gas tank? (I know it says 1 oz per Gallon, so 10 oz's) Any qualms about doing that?

I want someone local to change their oil and Seafoam their car with me so I can see how its done lol so I can possibly do it too! Anyone around the Massachusetts/NH/Maine area gonna do this any time soon? lol

At that pressure you see no benefit.

Also, the fuel doesn't pass over the intake valve so you get no benefit there.

HUGE waste of money.

Therefore disregard Sarah's post all together.
$ 2.50 for an STP fuel injector cleaner every oil change?

If you take HUGE out of my statement, it still says waste of money. You see a lot more benefit from changing your oil and seafoaming than using that garbage.

Just asking if it was possible. Is it a felony to ask? Isn't it what a forum like this is about?

Than just get injector cleaner... not sure if that's what you were getting at.

but if so, than yes injector cleaner is good to use. It's the other crap on the market that claims good things when all it does is waste your money. Using Top teir fuel will provide you with all the detergents and cleaners you'll need for a healthy fuel system.

Do you have to change spark plugs after a seafoam treatment?

Not if the spark plugs are newish. If they are old just go ahead and replace them.

Just use top tier fuel. It does make a difference. Don't go cheap, especially now that prices are so low

Just because: Top Tier Gasoline

It is noteworthy that QuikTrip and Costco are on the list for those of us lucky enough to have access. I just tried my first breakfast pizza from QuikTrip a couple weeks ago and it was salty, fatty amazingness.

Try the Rooster Booster energy drink. It's the best on the market. And it's in the fountain.

Haha good to know. I avoid them in general. I had half of a Red Bull once before a test, and it worked great for about an hour. Then came the crash. I told myself never again.

The hot chocolate is also really good. Too bad you can only enjoy them here in AZ for about two weeks/year, otherwise it's just too hot.

Sorry to derail the thread, but this is important.
