Long story short, I bought a lemon, left me stranded quite a few times. GM could not figure out the problem, tried 3 times. After a lot of "i wish i could help you but i'm not responsible, call someone else" someone finally said they'd take care of me. i still owe 20000 on it but trade in value is only 13000. dealership is eating the cost of my pay off and i'm getting in a car with around 8000mi when mine now has 26000. this will all break dead even for me. just can't decide on a color...i have silver with red on black interior...i could have a yellow balt by tomorrow, other colors have to be located...

 

get the yellow one. It is a unique color!

It is depending on where you are located, some places the yellow sells more than others.

I bought my 07 ss/sc with the mid-spoiler, or whatever it's technical name is. I like it a lot better, less rear window blockage, and like stated above doesn't stand out as much to cops. I didn't even know when I was looking around you could get it without the high spoiler.

 

yea so here i thought my only problem was that it wouldn't start, it actually shut down on me while i was driving last night and is now in a total lock down, can't do anything....i'm now in a rental which the dealership tried to say they wouldn't provide to me since i told them the car was their problem now, i never want to see it again. so now my options are still open as to what i'm getting, i told them that i def want the g85, my only thing is i loved the 2tone interior, but i think the lsd outweighs the interior. hopefully everything works out and i don't keep getting shafted

have you considered getting another type of car? Like maybe a G6 GTP or something? They're 260hp with a 6-speed.

Just pointing out that there are other cars out there that might make you happier than another SS/SC since you've had so many problems out of this one.

 

Get what you want... That is all that matters.. Remember, you are the one who will make the payments, fill it with gas, pay for repairs - post warranty.. So don't listen to these guys saying get yellow. unless its what you want.. Because in my opinion, yellow is a straight up girl colour.. and that is the reason you can have a yellow the next day! But thats my opinion, and means nothing... get what YOU really want, and don't be afraid to say no to the first car they throw at u!

 

oh yea, btw, i said no to the yellow, didn't have all the options i want...
