GM parts direct

How long does it normally take for them to process an order? Its only been a week, but I am just wondering..

only a week, hell in a week it should be there already, atleast thats how i see thngs i order, it woulndt take more than 7 days o get your stuff in, evertyhing i order gets in before the weeks end, but i havent tried ordering from them so i dont know what they consider fast to be

what did you order, they dont have everything on the shelf and sometimes they need to get it in first before they can ship to you. I dont think they have things drop shipped

Im guessing it wasnt on the shelf and might have been out of stock at the local warehouse. Youll get it just takes a bit longer

Did you also order the PCV plate and TB gasket for the 2.4 manifold?

i ordered the PCV plate, but now that I am looking, do 05's need the adapter plate? I have everything but that...****

You can try it without it, but look very closely at the bottom of the TB and verify that the seal is complete. I'd recommend the plate from CED just to be safe. On my 06 LS the 2.4 TB seal was sticking out from under the 2.2 TB so I went ahead and used the plate.
