GM Performance Exhaust!!!

I got it this morning and went straight to my shop and installed it! It sounds great. It's throaty and sounds awesome when you hit likt 2500/3000 rpm. I love it. Great buy. I'm going to post a thread tomorrow with pics and stuff. 3 of my other friends where there doing stuff to theirs, and me and my friend finally picked up our new project car(86 RX7) and brought it to the shop. I'll post pics tomorrow when I have more time.

How hard is it to take off the old exhaust and install the GM performance exhaust? I'm buying the performance one on Tuesday and will be installing it when I get back to the states.

Good...I heard it was somewhat easy but didn't think it would be that easy. I did know about having to cut off the old one, but didn't know the new one was all clamps. Will make it easy for me since I plan on loading up all of my mods, going to the auto hobby shop on base, renting a lift and having at it.

Yea, all the necessary equipment comes with it. The only thing that took a little while was cutting the old exhaust so I could pull it out, because the whole thing it welded and you can't get it over the rear lateral bar. Taking everything apart and instalation took about 45 minutes, but I didn't run into any problems. You shouldn't either, there's not much to it.

Taking the stock exhaust off is a joke easy. In fact I did my whole exhaust in approx 30 - 40 min. As mentioned above, just saw the axle pipe. I put the Corsa Sport on about 2 weeks ago and it rips. You can keep it low when you want to, but when you get on the throttle it opens up really nice n loud. I like the GMPP too, great value. btw - I had a buddy with me and a hydraulic lift. In fact, I spent more time with that upper bolt on my intake than I did replacing my exhaust...

I didn't have a lift =/ I had my balt sitting on 4 jack stands, so it may have taken me a little longer than it should have, heh. At least I wasn't outside, he was hot and muggy yesterday.

Air Grinder. Hacksaw would have taken too long. Air grinder took like 3 minutes.
