Question Going to look at SS tomorrow, help!!!

It's a 2006 SS/SC
Has 47,000 miles on her and looks to be in great shape.
yellow paint with black/yellow interior
Still has warranty. Not sure if it's a 60,000 or 100,000
Fully loaded and the dealer is asking 10k for her!!!

Anything I should look out for? anything under the hood? door seals? Need advice!

1G1AP14P667767177 - Heres the Vin#, If anyone has a Car Fax I would really appreciate checking this car out.

Thank you all!

I would request that the dealership do a carfax to save you the money. Just make sure all the lines are straight all gaps (hood to fender and door to fender) are even and look for wear on the shifter and clutch pedal. Just some things I looked at when shopping around. Good Luck!

i say spend another 2-3k get the G85 package with less miles. Its not on the stock warranty because GM gives a 3 year 36k warranty i thought. Maybe a extended warranty which is good to a point. BUt if thats the case you might as well drop it and get one from National They are considered the best.

At 10k that is pretty cheap so i would definately find out why. Either way be cautious dont buy it right off the bat. I bet its 10k plus more for the warranty and **** as well. If you get it all for 10k good deal but dont spend more than it

NOT a carfax but a GMVIS, it basically a system that keeps track of what warranty work has been done , and give dealers access to the build sheet and other info.

i'm up in new york and i got a steal on my 06 ss 12,500 when all the other dealers were at 18,000. it only had 36,057 miles on it when i was about to sign the papers i told them i wasn't going to unless i was able to get the extended with it so the guy changed the milage on the paperwork to 35,957 now if anything goes wrong and the warrenty company doesn't want to cover it then the dealership will due to forgery lol. i'm not very nice when it comes to this kind of stuff. i would say spend some extra and ask if you can take it to your mechanic if they agree you can take it to chevy and have them take a look at it.

Something seems fishy about the price.

Buy this one =) https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/complete-cars-101/fs-06-ss-sc-fully-loaded-g85-9k-miles-95672/

I wonder if they replaced the tranny or tried to fix it themselves? That could account for some of it .

I know that 10k price tag seems strange, I'm hoping nothing is wrong with the car. I don't think there is only because it was listed at around 13k, then within a week it dropped to 10k! No one wants a SS/SC in my area I guess...Thanks LaserBlueSS for the carfax. Makes me feel A LOT better! And thanks to all you guy's for your inputs. Will let you all know how it goes tomorrow!!!

dealerships will sit on cars for a month or so before price drop

Winter is coming too, most dealers try and get rid of their sporty cars now rather than let them sit all winter on the lot. I know our cars aren't sport's car per say but they are from a dealers perspective.

There was major traffic on the local HWY so I wasn't able to make it before they closed. I called the guy and asked why it's priced so low. He said they have had it for a couples months and they want to get rid of it for new invetory. I can only hope thats why it's priced so low lol.
