has anyone installed the trunk or hood struts

ok guys has anyone installed the hood or turnk struts or the under hood cover with the ss logo? if so can i see pics? and how dose the paint on them hold up? my dealer said they are comming out in yellow so im wondering casue i might add all three.

for ythose who dont know

(all info below is taken from chevy's site)

Add the finishing touch to your vehicle with body-color trunk lid struts. These replace the factory struts for more personalization.

Add some color under the hood with a body-color hood strut. This replaces the factory strut to add another element of personalization.

You’ll want to pop the hood and show off your engine compartment. This underhood liner attaches to your hood for a detailed appearance. It features a color Chevy Bowtie or SS Supercharged logo.

also anyone know the prices on these as my delaer said they have to check and dose any one have the 18 inch rims?

Thanks guys

The SS mat looks damn good! A buddy of mine has had one for about a month, I want one! The struts I can't justify tho, but they don't come in silver.

Yea, but the mat is just to reduce engine noise. I like to hear my engine, preferably

I used a 5 doller can of spray paint and a 5 doller can of spray clear to do my bowtie in the fron and it looks perfect!

For about 10 bucks you can do it your self man.
