HID problem Need Help ASAP
i just bought some HID there 12000k and when i was leaving mc donalds this morning my radio started cuting out, then i noticed that on of the head lights wasnt working so i took it out to see if it was wired up still and it was and it was getting power so i was like ok thats wired so i turned the lights off and the radio stopped cutting out. Then like 30 minutes ago i was turning my lights from ON to AUTO and then i did the one that was still working flickered alittle and i got static out of the radio. does anyone know whats going on

i just pluged the ground pin into the ground on the stock head light harness and the power the same way and no didnt up electrical tape over that just a **** load of grease but i didnt cut any wires so do i need to tape it
thats what i thought to but i could find a place where it would be grounding out
i have no clue what that is i just have the boxes that it came with and wires and there plugged into the factory harness

There's a bunch of wires going up to a square box, that's your relay. My suggestion would be to go find a new relay at radio shack or what not (no more than $5), pull the old relay out and put a new one in and then take some electrical tape and starting from the top of the relay wrap the tape around the relay and down to the wires going a good inch or two down the wires.
It sounds like your relay is getting full of water, make damn sure that the relay is pointed down too. Same goes for those little LLED's if you have them, wrap electrical tape just below the top of the bulb (so it just barely doesnt cover the light output) and wrap it around down to the wires (past the rubber boot), that'll keep them from shorting out.
Also this post isn't 2.2L specific, it's an electrical question, pay attention next time. If this was in the 2.4L section, I wouldn't have seen it, I really only search 2.2L and Electrical.
