How keep painted calipers from chipping

Hi,

Any suggested methods to help eliminate my calipers that are painted yellow from chipping throughout the winter? I would assume getting them powder coated would solve the problem?
Thanks.

Would that last a winter? With all the sand and gravel they pour on the roads it comes off pretty easy in the spring time when I give the car a good clean.

just put lots of coats on and make a thick layer of it, so only the clear would chip. also are you using high temp paint?

Yah I'm using the caliper paint Duplicolor is the brand. Every Spring I'm stuck reapplying the paint to them cuz of chipping.
