How much Coolant?

Got my new radiator in, and am ready to install it, but was wondering what the mixture is for dexcool, and for the supercharger, i dont know how much if any coolant is left in the engine, i dont know if you have to add water or straight dexcool. Sorry im a body guy myself, dont know crapt about coolant adding and what mixtures so any help would be greatly apprecaited thank you

usually the jug will say. im guessin 50/50, or even already done for you

is it alright to run 25coolant and 75 water in the summer time? if so are is it a noticable amount in temp?

thanks guys, its just an oem replacement for now from keystone, dont know who else makes aftermarket

the point of the coolant/antifreeze is to increase the boiling point and decrease the freezing point of the water... so technically, you can run 100% water, as long as you don't go near 100C or 0C.

couldn't tell you, i've never tried. just better remember to change it out when it gets cold.

When you forget about it and then it freezes the next winter and blows the radiator, you will wish you had mixed it right the first time. And if you do remember to drain and refill before winter, you are gona pay for the coolant again. I noticed your from PA.

yeah... PA isn't the hottest... but i guess i'll change it out all the time... i mean how much of a pain in the ass could it be...

Note: Dont really do straight water where you live, it might not turn out the same as where I live and never see freezing temperatures. Lol

Mix it 50/50 dexcool and DISTILLED water only, very important.
