i just ordered 1 from TTR and was wondering those who have it do u think its a wise investment?

I go through carwashes all the time with my injen, and it doesn;t have the shield on it at all. I even get the rocker panel spray and literally drive through the spray as slow as I can. I've done it at least 20 or 30 times, and I've run through some puddles accidentally.
No CELs, no red. engine power, no probs at all.
Just make sure you clean the filter regularly and get a new one as needed.

I have had my injen with no sheild on my cobalt for a year and an aem intake on my gti for 3 years with no sheild and no problems going through car washes or puddles.
