Intermittently won't go into any gear

2010 cobalt ss tc Intermittently won't go into any gear, feels like all gears has something blocking it from going in. Happened randomly after stopping, was able to get home and nothing. Next day started it up and went into gear just fine. Shifter roll pins seem fine, no real play in the shifter, fuild in the reservoir is full and clean. When the car is off I can shift into all gears no problem. I replaced the throwout bearing, pressure plate, clutch disk and flywheel about 10000 miles ago along with the engine. I'm leaning towards the throw out bearing or clutch disk. The only thing throwing me off is that it's intermittent. I really can't figure this our and trying to eliminate all possibilities before pulling the transmission so any help would be greatly appreciated

Could also be stretched shifter cables or bad bushings on the cable hold down.

Also could just be the crappy transmission GM put in these cars.

So i took the transmission out and went ahead and pulled the pressure plate and found the clutch disk like this. Bunch of metal chipped off around all the springs and one of those little hex key uts was completely out and rattling around in there.

Other than the clutch disk this is all I could find that didn't look right. I went ahead and threw a new TOB in with a new disk and everything is working good agian. Atleast for now anyways. I was able to make the trip back home from Kentucky to Missouri with no problems.

Sounds similar to the many other that have had TOB issues. My Ion Redline had the same problem. New TOB and was good to go.
