the focus is a bad ass car as well. The only thing I am not a big fan of is the interior. little too much space shipy feeling. But that is just my opinion. Over all the st is a great bang for the buck!
All electronic limitations on the U.S. Golf R can be turned off with aftermarket intervention.

No LSD, smaller turbo, couple hundred lbs heavier, etc. I can't blame him for picking it though, its all that's out there that's new, unless you want a Speed3 that gets 25 retarded mpg.

Sadly that's the sport compact market these days. Everyone has become obsessed with comforts. I remember the day when NSRT4s were the hot item for the pure fact they were fast and handled good. Nobody cared the rear windows were crank, the seats were cloth, or the sound system sucked . I guess I'm in the minority now because I'd rather give up having NAV and HIDS for a faster, lighter, cheaper car. Because racecar

For those saying it isnt an upgrade i challenge you to go drive one on a fun twisty road. I love this car. Yes its slower for now but there is already more bolt on turbo upgrades for it than there is a cobalt and tons more stuff coming out for it. Alot of you are thinking this car is overpriced but i paid 26k fully loaded for it and 29k after TTL and some other things. That puts its right around what cobalts were new and this is FULLY loaded, you can get them for 4k cheaper if you dont want recaros and HIDs and nav and all the other little cool things. Im VERY happy with the purchase and i live in Utah so RWD is out of the question for me. I needed a nice future family friendly daily that got good MPG and was still peppy and fun to drive and this fit the bill.
