Well guys, it's time for me to go. The 'Balt is leaving next week
. The place I now work at is a longer trip away and I can't justify spending so much money into gas. The car isn't practical for me anymore. I've been looking for a well equiped car with 4 doors that has a good mpg rating for the past 2 weeks. I settled for a 2013 VW Jetta TDI. Went to try the car today and fell in love. That means I will soon be parting out my car but please don't bother asking for the coilovers, I have someone local who is interested already. I know I haven't been here long but it's been a fun ride and lots of nice people in here

That'll be my first turbo and diesel car ever. It took me some time getting used when test driving. The surge is right at 2000 rpm and lasts up to 3000 rpm. It doesn't have much horsepower but you can clearly feel the torque. The interior is also very nice.
the torque is addicting. I have a 2008 diesel Grand Cherokee tuned with 440 torque. feels way faster at the slower end of the spectrum than my TVS cobalt... but once your moving its like... needs more horsepower!!!!
Very nice car... I bet your loving those mpgs lol. A buddy of my has a 2012 jetta wagon, and he's thinking of running free flow exhaust, intake, and tune, which he said it would put down about 190-200 whp and 250 wtq and still get about 40 mpg. That sound like a win, win because thats as fast or a bit faster than a stock ss/sc and way better mpgs. Good buy....

To me the Golf is more of a chick car than the Jetta and well at least the wife is happy about the purchase. She couldn't stand the impractical two doors, excessively hot leather seats during summer, crappy ride quality because of the coilovers suspension and interior that was falling appart anymore.
And the fact that I had to pay $70 worth of gas this week just to get to work and back home really killed the car for me.
nice looking car, not my choice since I live/work in north America, but everyones gotta move on
ehh do something useful, go install the efr lmao

I think the 20mpg difference is helpful, and around me diesel is less than premium right now and normally is close sometimes higher sometimes lower
